Madawaska---Gilbert Pelletier, 72, died with his family at his side on July 22, 2014 at a Madawaska health care facility, after a long illness with muscular dystrophy. He was born in Fort Kent on March 27, 1942, son of the late Guillaume and Eva (Pelletier) Pelletier. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty three years, Lucille (Greenier) Pelletier of Madawaska; one son, Mark Pelletier and his wife Jackie of Westbrook; one daughter, Elizabeth Anthony and her husband Thomas of Wayne, PA; one step-daughter, Lisa Scott and her husband Craig of Independence, OH; one step-son, Jeffrey Rossignol of Long Beach, CA; four grandchildren, Chadd and Zachary Pelleteir, Paige and Brooke Scott. He is predeceased by his brother, Gordon Pelleteir. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until time of service on Monday.
