Fort Kent—Gladys M. Gagnon, 91, entered the loving arms of Our Lord JESUS CHRIST on April 21, 2021. She was born on May 18, 1929, 92 years old next month. Daughter of the late Ulysses Sr. and Yvonne (Belanger) Michaud. Gladys was an excellent mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and step-grandmother. She was an excellent dietician, seamstress, cook, and knitter of hand made wool mittens and socks. Gladys is survived by three daughters, Dinah Gagnon of Fort Kent, Brenda Voisine and her husband Dana of Scarborough, Marilyn Pinette and her deceased husband Dana of Fort Kent; three sons, Thomas Gagnon and his fiancé Ellen Deschaine of Soldier Pond, Richard (Ricky) Gagnon of Fort Kent, Robert Gagnon and his wife Karen of St. Francis; one sister, Dorothy Bouchard of Millinocket; one brother, Ulysses June Michaud of Wallagrass; eight grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband Edmund J. Gagnon, who passed on May 24, 1977; two sisters, Claudette Freeman and Bernice Nelson; one brother, James Michaud; along with two infants that passed during childbirth. A Funeral Service will be held 10am on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at the St. Louis Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
