Fort Kent---- Glenda (Babin) LaFrance, 63, died peacefully at a Fort Kent Healthcare Facility March 8, 2022, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. She was born December 30, 1958, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dora (Paradis) Babin. Glenda enjoyed playing cards, bingo, line dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her son Adam and wife Marcia Lozier, grandson Carter of Connecticut, her brothers, Clayton and wife Lorraine Babin, John and wife Lynne Babin, Carl and wife Karen Babin, Melvin Babin and Gary Babin, sister in law Claudette Babin all of Fort Kent, Mark and wife Claudette Babin of Fort Fairfield, and Paul Babin and husband Roy Strahan of Louisiana, many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles as well as the children of her late husband Norman LaFrance. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Norman and her brother Bryant Babin. In respect of her wishes there will be no viewing hours or mass. In lieu of flowers you may donate to Edgar J Paradis Cancer Fund at Northern Maine Medical Center or Northern Light Hospice Care. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
