Fort Kent-- Gloria "Bea" Caron, 77, went home to be with Our Lord and her heavenly loved ones on December 3, 2020. She passed away at Northern Lights Medical Center after complications from heart surgery.
Bea was born on April 16, 1943 in Fort Kent Maine, daughter of Josepha & Edwina (Charette) Plourde. In 1962 she married her love, Gilford Roland Caron. Always by her side and together they raised three children, Tina, Cynthia and Chad.
Bea lived and loved for most of her life in Fort Kent. She worked many years at Soucy's Economat and cherished her friendships there. She also worked at Kent Inc. until she retired in 2006. Bea was a faithful member of the Ladies of St Ann in Fort Kent and Daughters of Isabella in Old Town. She loved serving others to reflect her service to God.
Bea leaves behind her beloved husband Gilford, daughter Tina Caron and partner Andrew Bouchard, daughter Cynthia and husband Glen Perreault, and son Chad and wife Jana Caron. She carries on in the attributes in her four grandchildren Chelsea, Dane, Danica, Derrick and great-grandchild Kamila. She also leaves behind her siblings Phelda Blier, Edward Plourde, Danny Plourde, Maynard Plourde, Mildred (Millie) Plourde, and Jeffery Plourde.
She joins her heavenly loved ones which include her parents Josepha & Edwina Plourde, siblings Elmer Plourde, Leonard Plourde, Eldon Plourde, Velma Caron, Roger Plourde, Linda Ouellette, and Christina (Tina) Thibodeau.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle funeral home.
