Obituary

Madawaska---Gloria Levesque, 88, passed away with her loving family by her side, on November 14, 2025, in Madawaska, Maine.  She was born in Van Buren on September 20, 1937, daughter of the late Adelard and Laura (Sirois) Michaud.  She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and was a lifetime member of the Daughters of Isabella and also a member of The Ladies of St. Anne.  Gloria enjoyed going out to lunch with family and friends, shopping trips, taking trips to see her children and grandchildren, as well as spending time with her sisters.  Gloria worked as an administrative assistant for many years at Highview Manor and Wisdom House.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Elbridge Levesque of Madawaska; her two children, Wayne Levesque and Sharon Levesque, both of Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Christa Moore-Levesque and her husband John of Massachusetts, Jenna Boivin of Texas; two great grandchildren, Samuel and Lucia and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her eight siblings, Lorette (Euclide) Ouellette, Claude Michaud, Clifford (Armande) Michaud, Irma (Jim) Franck, Leola (Chanel) Laplante, Priscilla (Wilfred) Daigle, Theresa (Bernard) Lajoie, Louise (Don) Madore.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am on January 2, 2026, at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Madawaska.  Relatives and friends may offer their condolences at the church on Friday from 9 am until 9:45 am before the Mass begins.  A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:30 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.  We would like to thank the Dugal family and the staff at Country Village Estates as well as the staff at Highview Manor for their dedicated and compassionate care for the last five years.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to Country Village Activity Fund, 260 Dugal Dr., Madawaska, ME 04756 or to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org
