Madawaska---Guilmay (Theriault) Michaud, 74, passed away on May 1, 2020 at NMMC in Fort Kent after a short and courageous battle with cancer and long term complications of diabetes.  She was born on September 30, 1945, a daughter of the late Denis and Yvette (Landry) Theriault of Edmundston. Guilmay loved people and was always willing to lend a hand to loved ones and friends.  She was always ready to put on a good spread for people.  She volunteered her time at Ridgewood Estates in the activities department.

Guilmay is survived by her husband of 54 years, Guy Michaud; her two children, daughter Mira Michaud and her wife Stacie Lezotte of Bangor, and son Gary Michaud of Madawaska; siblings, Oneil Theriault and partner Bridgette Lagace; Guy Theriault and partner Theresa Walker; Claude Theriault and wife Rolande Leger; Lise Robinson and her husband Don; Rino Theriault and his wife Nichole Gaudeau; and Daniel Theriault and his partner Suzane Lagace; in-laws, Alphey Levesque, Jackie Theriault, and Nancy Theriault; and  several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.  She is predeceased by 4 brothers Jean, Gil, Theo, Bob, Eno, and 1 sister, Rejeanne Levesque.

Due to the social distancing order, there will be no funeral or church services.  A private burial and memorial will be held in Sinclair when we can all get together again.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that monetary donations be made to Ridgewood Estates, Activities Coordinator, 480 Ridgeview Avenue, Madawaska, ME  04756.
