Madawaska---Guy Michaud, 78, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2023, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  He was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on June 16, 1944, son of the late Edwin and Rose (Martin) Michaud.  Guy retired from Fraser Paper on November 30, 2006, after many years of service.  He was a Fourth-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Madawaska.  In his younger years, he enjoyed spending time at his camp and fishing all of Long Lake.  He is survived by two children, Mira Michaud and her wife Stacie Lezotte of Bangor, Gary Michaud of Madawaska; four sisters, Fabiola Matalonis, Lorraine Deering, Yvette Morton, and Elizabeth "Liz" Johnson; nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife, Guilmay (Theriault) Michaud and one brother, Theodore Michaud.  A Graveside Service will be held 2pm on Friday, June 9, 2023, at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Sinclair.
