St. David—Helen (Cyr) Bourgoin, 50, passed away on March 5, 2021 at her home in St. David. She was born on July 5, 1970, daughter of the late Joseph Cyr Sr, and her mother Gizelle Perreault. Helen was a kind soul who loved animals, especially her beloved yellow lab Missy. She had many hobbies including diamond art canvases, sticker books, and paint by numbers. Many years ago, Helen's favorite pass time was brook fishing. Helen is survived by her loving husband Danny Bourgoin, who will miss her dearly; four brothers, Mike Cyr of Windsor, Joe Cyr Jr. of Tennessee, Paul Cyr of St. Agatha, and Larry Cyr of Eddington; and some nieces and nephews. Helen is predeceased by her father Joseph Cyr Sr.; one brother, Dean Cyr. Due to the current pandemic a funeral service will be held privately by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
