Madawaska---In loving memory of Helen K. Cote, 65, who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Caribou on May 17, 1946, the daughter of Patrick and Kathleen (Cahoon) Theriault. Helen was a very loving mother and wife who always put her family first. She was an avid flower gardener, enjoyed socializing and helping people whenever she could, especially in her community. She was a very compassionate and loving person who was always there to lend an ear or a helping hand. Helen loved life to the fullest in spite of her illnesses that began about five years ago. She always told her family, "Be good to and kind to one another because life is just too short." Helen was a hard worker and very strong willed. She was loved very much by family and friends and will be missed by many. She is survived by her loving husband, Martin Cote of Madawaska; her loving daughter, Tracy Dorweiler of Bangor, and her loving son, Kevin Cote of Portland; one sister, Marion Devine of New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Thursday, June 9 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Condolences may be given to the family at the front of the church from 9am until time of service. Interment will be held immediately after the funeral in the parish cemetery.
