Bucksport- Herman J. Thibeault, 82, transitioned peacefully from his earthly journey to his eternal resting place, on March 2, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fort Kent on July 21, 1936 to Patrick & Edwina (Cyr) Thibeault. Herman graduated from Fort Kent Community High School in 1955. After a brief employment with Aroostook Federation of Farmers, he launched into his life long passion of insurance sales; for more than 3 decades with Combined Insurance, then on to Colonial Insurance to close out that career in 1984. They shared many interests during their 62 year marriage including raising 5 children, skiing, snow-mobiling, square dancing, motor cycling and spending time at camp. Herman and Carlene did a Marriage Encounter, both served as Eucharistic ministers and were team leaders for the Cursillo movement. Herman served in the Lions Club, Jr Chamber of Commerce, a Member Advisor for the Fort Kent Credit Union and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus in the #0352 Council.
