St. David --- Hermance (Beaulieu) Cyr, 76, passed away on May 8, 2018 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born on January 9, 1942 a daughter of the late Henry and Olive (Levesque) Beaulieu. She loved to cook for and be surrounded by her friends and family, especially around the holidays. She was very crafty and will always be remembered as a hard-working farmer's wife. She will be tremendously missed by all. Hermance was survived by her five children, Brenda St. Amand and her husband Don of Bangor, Elaine Selfridge of Caribou, Allan Cyr of Madawaska, Harold Cyr and his wife Cheryl of St. David, and Steven Cyr of St. David; six grandchildren, Jamie St. Amand, Justin Selfridge and his wife Jamie, Amanda Cyr, Logan Cyr, Devan Cyr, and Andrew Cyr; five great-grandchildren, Brendon, Rachel, Brice, Koni, and Emma; one brother, Wilfred "Pitou" Beaulieu of Florida and Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews. Hermance was predeceased by her loving husband Ronald "Nal" Cyr; and seven siblings, Yvette Beaulieu, Anita Gorneau, Donita Martin, Auore Ouellette, Lewis Beaulieu, Claude "Babe" Beaulieu, and Norman "Pit" Beaulieu. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 10am at the St. Gerard Church in Grand Isle. Family and Friends may call at Lajoie funeral home in Madawaska on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6-8pm. There will be no calling hours the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers donations in Hermance's name may be made out to the Ridgewood Estates Activity fund, 480 Ridgeview Ave, Madawaska, ME 04756.
