Madawaska---Hermil Theriault, 70, passed away at a Presque-Isle health care facility on April 10, 2012. He was born in Riviere Verte, New Brunswick on January 2, 1942, the son of the late Leo and Rose (Doucet) Theriault. Mel owned and operated Theriault Seamless Gutters for thirty eight years. He enjoyed taking rides in the back roads to enjoy the wildlife, playing computer games, and loved staying home with his family and friends. Mel is survived by his companion for fourteen wonderful years, Helen Cyr of Madawaska; his son, Paul R. Theriualt; six sisters, Leola Pelletier and her husband Gilbert of Kinsington, CT, Yvette Clavette and her husband, Yvon of Watertown, CT, Celia Levesque and her companion Gerald Couturier of Edmundston, N.B., Dorraine Roy of St. Leonard Parent, N.B., Claudette Plourde of St. Joseph, N.B., and Jackie Dube and her husband Robert of Lewiston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Saturday, April 14 at St. David Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 8:30am until 9:30am on Saturday. Spring interment will be in the Parish cemetery.
