Obituary

Madawaska---Imelda M. Nadeau, 97, passed away on October 27, 2020 at a Madawaska health care facility.  She was born in Baker Lake, NB on April 20, 1923, daughter of the late Phydime and Ida (Martin) Nadeau.  Imelda was the last surviving sibling of her family of twelve.  She was a resident of Madawaska since 1943.  She is survived by five daughters, Patricia Prue and her husband Lewis of Fort Fairfield, Nancy Dallaire and her husband Jean-Pierre of Trois Riviere, Quebec, Joan Medlin and her husband Earl of Walnut, Mississippi, Betty Ann Caron and her husband Jean Francois of Baker Lake, NB; Rena Mae Nadeau and her deceased spouse Brian "P2" Voisine of Fort Kent; Six sons, Gilman Nadeau and his wife Hugette of Madawaska, John Nadeau and his wife Rachel of Florida, Roger Nadeau of Connecticut, Phillip Nadeau and his wife Mildred of Madawaska, Norman Nadeau of West Palm, Florida, Roy Ronald Nadeau of Maine; seventy five plus grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  Imelda was predeceased by her husband, Aurel Nadeau; three sons, Robert "Bob", Gerard "Jerry", Reno; eleven siblings.  Due to the pandemic restrictions, funeral services will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Angel Flight, 492 Sutton St., North Andover, MA 01845.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
