Fort Kent – Isabelle (Nadeau) Levesque, 83, passed away peacefully at Forest Hill Manor on May 30th, 2021.  She was born in Baker Brook, NB, July 23 ^rd , 1937, the daughter of Ernest & Helena (Campagna) Nadeau.  Isabelle is survived by her husband of 65 years, Marc; children Yves (Linda), Linda, Roger (Helen) and daughter-in-law Karen; grandchildren Krissy (Seth), Mindy (Pierre), Katie (Terry), Daryn (Alexandra), Sage, Gillian, Marc (Ye Eun), Henry, Thomas, William, Emma, Lydia; and great grandchildren Isabelle, Madelyn, George, Cora, Rita, Persephone, Seamus, Daryn Jr, and Marc. She was predeceased by her son Gilles.

Isabelle enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom, raising her 4 children and volunteering her time as she grew older.  Family gatherings were always special because of her pies, beans and homemade bread.  Her love for her grandchildren made her that special Memere.

Relatives and friends are invited for a mass at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent on July 24th at 10:00 AM, followed by an internment at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the Activities Committee at the Fort Kent Forest Hill Manor, 25 Bolduc Ave., Fort Kent, ME 04743.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
