Madawaska & St. David--- Jacqueline M. Baron, 77, died peacefully April 1, 2017 at a Madawaska healthcare facility, with her loving family at her side. She was born June 21, 1939 in Madawaska, a daughter of the late Hector and Lorette "Dorothy" (Lagasse) Michaud.
Jackie was a big-hearted lady who would give the shirt off her back if it could help in any way. She cherished all the time she spent with her family and friends creating many wonderful memories throughout her bountiful life. Her biggest love was her grandchildren and great grandchildren "like a passion."
She is survived by: her beloved husband of 56 years, Alban Baron of Madawaska; three children, Rina Lagasse and her husband Leo of Grand Isle, Margie Dugal and her long-time companion Michael Mahaney of Vassalboro, and Davis Baron and his wife Rae Anne; six grandchildren, April, Ryan, Alyssa, Stephanie, Emily and Kaleb; two great granddaughters, Kamryn & Maci; one brother, Reynold Michaud and his wife Carol of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Jeannine Morneault.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at St. David Catholic Church, St. David. There will be no visiting hours. Interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Ave., Madawaska.
