Obituary

St. David & Hartford, CT--- Jacqueline L. Belanger, 74, of Hartford, CT, beloved wife of the late Leonard Belanger, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, September 04, 2017. Born in Madawaska, ME to the late Gedeon and Ida (Deschaines) Levesque, she was raised in Maine and has been a Hartford resident since 1961.
Jacqueline was a member of St. Augustine Church in Hartford, CT and enjoyed gardening, but her main focus was her family who will miss her dearly.
She is survived by her daughters, Natalie Belanger Ring and her husband Patrick of Windsor, CT, and Delina Belanger of Hartford, CT; her grandchildren Nathaniel and Samuel Ring; seven brothers; six sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Monday, September 11, 2017 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Madawaska. Relatives and friends may greet the family Sunday 6-8:00 PM and Monday 9-9:45 AM at Lajoie Funeral Home, 114-10th Ave., Madawaska. Burial will be in St. Gerard Cemetery, Grand Isle. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd Newington, CT 06111
