Obituary

Madawaska---Jacqueline St. Jarre, 78, passed away on January 8, 2015 at a Frenchville health care facility. She was born in Madawaska on October 29, 1936, daughter of the late Ernest and Laura (Morneault) Plourde. Jackie was a communicant of St. Thomas Church and volunteered her time with many church activities. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella of Madawaska. She worked as a receptionist for Dr. Raymond's office for over twenty years until her retirement in 2002. Jackie is survived by three sons, David St. Jarre of Randolph, Mark St. Jarre and his wife Tina of Oakland, and Steven St. Jarre and his wife Cindy of Madawaska; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert St. Jarre; four brothers, Roland, Joel, Donald, and Norman Plourde. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Sunday, January 11 and from 9am until 9:45am on Monday. Interment will be held in the Parish cemetery later in the spring.
