WALLAGRASS--- Jacqueline M. (Albert) Labbe, 94, passed away on September 12, 2024 at a Fort Kent healthcare facility.   She was born on December 6, 1929 a daughter of the late David and Laura (Dumais) Albert.

She worked at JJ Newberry's in Fort Kent until the company closed and then continued to work at Gerber's Childrenswear in Fort Kent until her retirement at age of 62.  She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flowers.

She is survived by her seven children, Muriel (Paul) Michaud of Fort Kent, Kathleen Plourde of Conroe, TX, Linda (Ron) Laferriere of Eagle Lake, Leo Paul (Barbara) Labbe Jr. of Spring Hill, FL, Debra (Keith) Gagnon of Reidsville, NC, Lyman Labbe of Wallagrass and Ricky (Elaine) Labbe of Fort Kent; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by a special sister-in-law, Lucille Albert, of New Britain, CT.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Leo Paul Labbe in 2012 and all  her siblings:  Verna Desjardins, Aurore Morneault,  Blanche Buzard, Lucienne Spencer, Beulah Menard, Lavola Osden, Gerry Albert and Nelson Guimond.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, September 23, 2024, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Church St., Wallagrass. Respecting her wishes, there will be no viewing hours. Interment will be private in Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Forest Hill Manor Activities Dept, 25 Bolduc Ave., Fort Kent, Maine 04743. Services have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
