Madawaska---James N. Madore, 84, passed away February 9, 2021, at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on August 4, 1936, son of the late Aurele and Lourdes (Pelletier) Madore.  He was a long-time employee of Fraser Paper, where he worked until his retirement.  A United States Army Veteran, he was a member of the American Legion of Madawaska and a member of the Madawaska Knights of Columbus.  Jim was a very strong contributor to the Madawaska Four Seasons Lodge, giving much of his time to volunteer where it was needed.  Being a very faith filled man, he was a communicant of the St. Thomas Church.  He is survived by his two siblings, Cliff Madore and his wife Bev of Madawaska, and Eileen Madore also of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Paquerette (Michaud) Madore; two sisters, Joan Senechal and Claire Pelletier; one brother, Dan Madore.  Due to the current pandemic, funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
