Fort Kent—James Raymond, 68, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 14, 1952, son of the late Albert and Rena Raymond. James is survived by three children, Courtney Deprey and her husband Joey of New Canada, Jason Raymond of Connecticut, Kevin Raymond and his wife Kelley of Fort Kent. Four brothers, Peter Raymond (Joella), Steve Raymond (Anna), Gerald Raymond (Michelle), and Roland Raymond (Tammy); two sisters, Karen Davenport (Mike), and Stacy Raymond (Lincoln Davenport); Five grandchildren, Brody Gagnon, Sadie Raymond, Kalie Raymond, Keegan Raymond, and Karter Raymond; along with many nieces and nephews. James is predeceased by his parents Albert and Rena Raymond.  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 26, 2021, 10am, at St. Louis church.
