Though disabled since birth, Jean's blindness did not hold her back from living life. She was bilingual in French and English and was a whiz at putting puzzles together. She loved singing Christmas songs and receiving gifts always made her feel like Christmas. Jean loved to eat and cherished her favorite foods chocolate, pizza, and soda.
Though Jean was unable to say in words, she was so thankful for the many years of happiness shared by her caregivers Christine and Tina. Jean loves them so very much and she will continue to watch over them. Christine and Tina are exceptional caretakers and saw Jean as one of their own for many. Christine says Jean was a blast to care for and Tina and Jean shared such a special bond together. Together they shared wonderful times while all learning to be patient, loved, compassionate, and so much more.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen White; one brother, Joseph Bernier; three sisters Maxine Bernier, Nancy Drake and Patricia Bagley; and many nieces and nephews, William Paradis, Laurie Saucier-Bagley, Tina Saucier-Desjardins, Sheila, Edmond Jr., Laura, Mary, Larry, Richard, Dennis, Denise, Susan, Theresa, Ronald, Claire, Willard Jr., Laurie, Pamela, Peggy, Penny and Patti.
