St. Francis---Jeannette Jandreau, 105, passed away May 13, 2025, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in St. Francis on November 26, 1919, a daughter of the late Lazeme and Edith (Bourgoin) Thibodeau.  In her younger years, she enjoyed knitting, rug making, and canning.  She especially loved spending time with her children and many grandchildren.  She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Theriault and Susan Bourgoin and her husband Gary, all of Fort Kent; a son, Rudolph Jandreau and his wife Sandra of Oakland; ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; step great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Omer Jandreau; her daughter, Nathelie "Joyce" Jackson; a son-in-law, Clarence "Boon" Theriault; eleven siblings, Dave, Daniel, Ephriam, Randolph, Pea, Levi, Peter, Paul, Delina Madore, Leah Nadeau, and Edith Baker; one great grand-daughter, Morgan Pelletier.  Five days before she passed, she said she had five more days, and she was right.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the St. Charles Church in St. Francis.  In keeping with Jeannette's wishes, there will be no visiting hours.  Interment will take place immediately following the Mass at the St. Francis new cemetery.
