Fort Kent---Jeannette Voisine, 73, passed away on May 27, 2021, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Fort Kent on June 12, 1947, daughter of the late Pierre and Laurette (Ouellette) Labrie.  Jeannette graduated from Fort Kent Community High School.  She moved to Connecticut where she worked for Aetna Insurance until moving back to Maine.  While in Maine, she worked for Reney's and Paradis IGA.  In her spare time, she enjoyed doing genealogy.  She is survived by two children, Allen Voisine and his wife Tonia of Texas, Mary Voisine of Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Cassandra, Shawna, Randy, and Chris; four great grandchildren, Oyden, Ayden, Emily, and baby Wright; two sisters, Lourde Pelletier and her husband Ron of Florida, Virginia Thomas and her companion, Jose Vega of Connecticut; one step-sister, Dale Johnson of Maine; One step-brother, Lawrence Ouellette of New York; two brothers, George Labrie and his wife Christine of Florida, Gerry Labrie and his wife Terry of Connecticut; many nieces and nephews.  Jeannette was predeceased by her step-dad, Alcide Ouellette; her brothers, Leo, Jean Claude, and Patrick Labrie; one step-brother, George Ouellette; her ex-husband, Gilman Voisine.  A Graveside Service will be held at 9am on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the St. Louis Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
