Madawaska—Jeannine R. Dumais, 86, passed away on August 1, 2020 at St. Joseph's Memory Care.  She was born in Madawaska on December 11, 1933, the daughter of George and Irene Lagasse.  Jeannine worked at Parent's Rexall Drug Store for a number of years.  She enjoyed her long daily walks, working in her flowers and nightly visits with friends at the local McDonalds.  She is survived by her brother, Roger Lagasse and his wife Janine of Fort Kent, nieces, nephews, and her good friend Geneva Albert.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Armand, her two brothers, John and Eugene (Beatrice).  The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated staff at St. Joseph Memory Care for all their care and support during the past year.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
