Madawaska---Jeannine Paradis, 83, passed away May 29, 2014 at a Madawaska health care facility. She was born in Edmundston, New Brunswick on September 12, 1930, daughter of the late Philip and Simone (Rougoue) Franceour. She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Paradis and her husband Richard of Fort Kent; four sons, Gerald Paradis and his wife Denise of Litchfield, Roger Paradis and his wife Joyce of Madawaska, Roland Paradis and his Fiancée Edith Desjardins of St. Agatha, Robert Paradis and his wife Shirley of Madawaska; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Dolores Charest of Rivere Du Loop; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Beatrice Boissonneauit and her brother Gerard Franceour. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 9am until 10:30am on Tuesday before the service. Interment will be held immediately following the service in the Parish cemetery.
