MADAWASKA – Jenna Marie Guillemette, a lifelong Madawaska resident, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 17 on Thursday, December 5th, 2019 at Northern Maine Medical Center.  Jenna was born October 26, 2002 in Fort Kent, to Thadious Guillemette and Karen Cyr. She was raised in Madawaska and was attending Madawaska High School. Jenna was a precious daughter, loving sister, and supportive friend. She was sunshine personified. Jenna loved her family, her dogs and cats, and her longtime partner Kyle Dionne. Jenna had recently traveled to the Mediterranean and loved every moment of it. She was studying to be an early childhood educator and was planning to enroll at the University of Maine at Farmington in 2021.  Jenna is survived by her father Thadious Guillemette, her mother Karen Cyr, her Brother Jiovanni, her sister Jainnie, her Aunt Amy, her cousin Dylan, her grandfather Roger Cyr, her Grandmother Charlene Deschaine, and her godfather Christopher Joyner of North Carolina.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the St. David Church.  Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 4pm-8pm on Thursday and from 8:30am until 9:30am on Friday before the Service.
