IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jenny (Bourgoin)
Bernier
November 3, 1952 – March 8, 2022
Fort Kent—Jenny (Bourgoin) Bernier, 69, passed on March 8, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. Jenny loved her family and was always looking forward to the next family gathering, especially at her Eagle Lake camp. She will be remembered by many for being such a hard worker, never stopping to keep things in order. She took great pride in her home and personal belongings. Jenny was a proud member of the Ladies Axillary. Often times her friends couldn't believe how much energy and strength she had to accomplish so much, especially after the passing of her husband. Jenny enjoyed shopping, lunch dates, and spending quality time with her friends at the lake. Something she took pride in was her appearance, she never left the house without her makeup and being dressed to the T. Jenny leaves behind her daughter, Vicky Hafford and her husband Corey; her two grandsons, Zachary and his fiancé Mackenzie and their son Jameson, Brady and his girlfriend Elizabeth and their unborn son who is due to arrive in September; her son, Duane Bernier and his girlfriend Lauren, and her 2 children Ellis and Callum; her siblings, Carlene Pelletier, Clinton Bourgoin (Gloria), Leroy Bourgoin (Violet), Diana Lagasse (Dana), Gary Bourgoin (Sue), Tina Michaud (Pat); along with many nieces and nephews. Jenny is predeceased by her loving husband, Harold Clinton Bernier who passed in 2015; one sister, Robertine Babin; one niece/Godchild, Karen Pelletier. The family would like to express their gratitude to several people. Jenny had the most respect for Dr. Carlos Chaves, who took great care of her during her surgeries at Cary Medical Center. Dr. Karod, nurses, CNAs, and hospitalists at NMMC gave excellent care. The hospice care gave amazing care to our mom and our family day or night. Our mom's request was to pass at home and we just as she wished. A special thank you to our Aunt Tina who was there for Mom from beginning to end; along with all family and friends for their support and prayers. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, 1pm at St. Louis church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
