IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jesse N.
Bossie
October 6, 1992 – May 19, 2022
New Canada---Jesse Bossie was born October 6, 1992, in Fort Kent. He is survived by his loving parents, Judy Theriault and Joel Bossie. He was the middle child, born between his older brother Travis Bossie and younger brother Colby Bossie. Our beloved Jesse left us on May 19th, 2022, at the young age of 29. He was a man who enjoyed the simple things, like spending time with his friends and family. He took great pride in his work, as well. And in this pride, he was a true northern Maine man. When he wasn't hard at work, he could be found hunting, camping, and enjoying nature at any chance he could get. Jesse's deepest passion, however, was fishing. He had a unique way of connecting with nature. Sitting on his boat behind his fishing pole, Jesse became alive. When Jesse's loved ones were asked what stuck out about Jesse, one of characteristics stayed prevalent; he had the biggest heart. Anyone who truly knew Jesse, knew he was the kind of man with a true sense of empathy, the kind of man who would sit and talk with you for hours about anything. He made everyone around him feel seen, heard, and safe. From the moment you met him, you knew you would have the type of bond with him that would last a lifetime. Jesse always went out of his way to help those who needed it, never expecting anything in return. His level of dedication to those around him was unmatched, he was a true friend. Jesse had a gentle persona which was reflected by the tone of his voice; representing his kind nature, the generosity, and the selflessness he held. He never failed to welcome his people with the most honest and sincere arms embracing them with his love. Jesse was taken from us far too soon and while we are devastated by our loss, we know his legacy will live on. It lives on in us, in our kindness and our connection with nature. In his honor, in lieu of flowers, his friends and family would like to raise awareness for the plight of people who are addicted and struggling with addiction. Donations can be made towards The Bangor Area Recovery Network in his name, https://bangorrecovery.org/ . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 27th at the St. Louis Catholic Church in Fort Kent. Jesse's memory will forever remain in our hearts and his legacy will live on. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten, rest easy J Boss.
