Eagle Lake—Joan (Morneault) Berube, 82, passed away at a Fort Kent healthcare facility on February 22, 2021. She was born on July 3, 1938 in Eagle Lake. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Jeanne (Nadeau) Morneault. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother. Her greatest joy was to cook big meals and have all her family surrounding her, especially her grandkids. You could always expect that if you entered her home, you would be welcomed with a big smile and guaranteed to leave with a full belly. She is survived by two sisters; Jeannine West of North Attleboro Mass. and Theresa Morneault of Plainville Conn.; one brother, Gilman Morneault and wife Nicole of Caron Brook, NB; one son, Mark Berube of Madawaska and one daughter Lisa (Berube) Devoe and husband Vaughn of Eagle Lake; three grandchildren Cara Pinette and husband Keith of Fort Kent, Brad Berube and wife Brandy of Hampden and Kaitlynn Devoe of Eagle Lake; five great-grandchildren Emily, Barrett, Kimber, Connor, and Gauge. She is predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Odette Berube; one brother, Leo Paul Morneault.  Due to the current pandemic funeral services will be held privately by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
