Madawaska -- Joan M McHenry, 81, passed away on Dec 5, 2025, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Fort Kent on July 17, 1944, daughter of the late John and Isabelle (Roy) Guimond.  Joan is survived by two daughters; Debra and her husband John Clavette of Madawaska, and Cheryl and her husband Jon Corbin of Kentucky; a son, Ted McHenry and his partner Jennifer of Limington; one sister, Rita and her husband George Pelletier of Fort Fairfield; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Joan was predeceased by her husband, Edward A. McHenry, Sr., her son, John Dixon, and several brothers and sisters: Josephat, Conrad, Arthur, Jeanne, Theresa, and Yvonne.  A graveside ceremony will be held in the spring of 2026.
