Fort Kent --- Joan J. "Daigle" Ouellette, 84, passed away on April 9, 2018, at a Fort Kent health care facility. She was born in Fort Kent on July 16, 1933, the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Laura (Oakes) Daigle. Joan was known for her infectious smile, as well as her love for puzzles, and making crafts. Joan is survived by her four daughters, Linda Bailey and her husband Milton of CT, Rinette Ouellette of RI, Priscilla Luchetti and her husband Charles of MA, and Donna Ouellette and her fiancé Dan of ME; two grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel; Two sisters, Priscilla Pelletier and Claudette Oakes and her husband Jack; one brother, Joel Daigle and his wife Eleanor; and many nieces and nephews. Joan is predeceased by her beloved husband of 60 years, Lawrence Ouellette; Three brothers, Albert Daigle, Richard Daigle, and Jean-Baptiste Daigle Jr.; one sister, Anita Belanger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at
