Fort Kent --- Joan G. Plourde, 78, passed away on January 16, 2020 at a Fort Kent healthcare facility. She was born on October 1, 1941, daughter of the late Albert and Eva (Derosiers) Guerrette. She is survived by her three sons, Danny Plourde and his wife Carolyn, John Plourde and his wife Theresa, and Mike Plourde all of Fort Kent; three grandchildren, Sarah Plourde, Dustin Plourde, and Laura Dumont; one great-grandchild, Sophia Plourde; three sisters, Bernadette Capella, Theresa Martin, and Dorina Lacasse; along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Maynard R. Plourde; five brothers, Louis, Gilman, Herman, Fernand and Luke Guerrette; and three sisters, Dora Slovak, Jeannine Gagne, and Sr. Lucille Guerrette. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the St. Louis Church in Fort Kent. Family and Friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home from 9-10:45 the morning of the service. Spring interment will be held in the Parish Cemetery.
