St. David---John P. Beaupré, 63, passed away on February 21, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Boston, MA on March 8, 1950, son of the late Addis and Normande (Morrow) Beaupré. John was a Fourth Degree member of the Madawaska Knights of Columbus, council #0366. He enjoyed cooking and gardening, but his favorite pass time was spending time at the lake. He had the ability to make everyone around him smile. He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Marilyn (Lagasse) Beaupré of St. David; one son, James Beaupré and his wife Danielle of Stillwater; one daughter, Sharon Beaupré of Bangor; one brother, Philip Beaupré and his wife Antoinette of Grand Isle; two sisters, Ann Marie Grivois and Helen "Pirou" Beaupré both of Grand Isle; several nieces and nephews, brothers-in law and sisters-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at11am on February 25, 2014 at the St. Agatha Church. Family and friends may call at Lajoie Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Monday and from 9am until 10:30am on Tuesday before the service.
