Madawaska - John M. Michaud, 76, died peacefully November 14, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born July 11, 1935 in Edmundston, Canada. He was the son of Arthur and Marie (Neveu) Michaud. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Michaud of Madawaska; one daughter and son in law, Janie and Adam Duplisea of Herman; one son, Kevin Michaud of Madawaska; one granddaughter Aubrie Lynn Michaud; three sisters, Hugette Cyr of St. Basile, Sue Pelletier of Madawaska, Muriel Welch of Port Saint Lucie, FL; three brothers, Guy Michaud of Smyrna, GA, Pete Michaud of Newnan GA, Roland Michaud of Joliet, IL; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Sister Fernand Michaud; and two brothers, Gaby Michaud and Dave Michaud. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2011, at Saint Thomas Church in Madawaska. Friends and family may offer their condolences from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow services at the Madawaska Cemetery.
