St. Francis- John Michaud, 46, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2021, at his home. He was born on January 15, 1975, son of Nancy (Wilson) Michaud, and the late John P. Michaud. In his youth John was known for his athletic ability and for rarely being seen without a book in his back pocket. John graduated from high school and went to work for Morin & Sons Paving. , where he worked for years. He had a reputation as a hard worker who had a way with people. He loved his family, friends, books, the New York Giants and the outdoors. He was at home and at peace anywhere in nature, especially camping, fishing and canoeing. John took pride in his Irish and Canadian heritage. He was a son of St. Francis and loved and respected the people who lived there. He will be remembered for his huge, kind heart and his willingness to help anyone he could. John is survived by his mother, Nancy (Wilson) Michaud; four siblings, Wendy Bruey of New Hampshire, Robert Bruey and his wife Dana of New York, Shelley Bruey of Fort Kent, Holly Bowman and her husband Aaron of New York; his nine beautiful nieces and nephews that he adored, Russell, Tommy, Jennifer, Kelly, Marissa, Sherrie Anne, Patrick, Ari and Hannah; along with eight special great-nieces and nephews, Seth, Ryleigh, Gavin, Finnegan, Griffin, Wyatt, Lilly, and Bailey; along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. John is predeceased by his father, John P. Michaud; his paternal grandparents, Emile and Lorette Michaud; his maternal grandparents, George and Frances Wilson. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021, 10am at St. Charles Church in St. Francis. Family and friends may offer their condolences at Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home Friday, October 22, 2021 from 6-8pm, and Saturday morning from 8-9am. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
