Fort Kent--- John Paradis, 62, died peacefully at his residence in Fort Kent on April 14 2022. He was born in Fort Kent on October 14,1959. John served in U.S. Army for 8 years. John was the owner and cook of Doris' Café and shared his mother's love of cooking. He also enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles.

John is predeceased by his parents, Lloyd Paradis and Doris (Daigle) Paradis, as well as his sister Karen Maxson. He was also predeceased by many extended family members. He is survived by his brother, Glenn Paradis; sisters, Louise Paradis and Janice Paradis; his children Anne Rice, Shayna Hebert and Stephen Paradis; as well as his grandchildren, Alissa Rice, Chadd Rice, Paige Hebert, and Landen Hebert; stepmother, Louise Paradis; his longtime partner Tracey Baker, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will hold a private service with a graveside following in June. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home.
