Madawaska/Port Charlotte, FL---John Sirois, 72, passed away on January 27, 2020 at a Florida health care facility.  He was born on February 13, 1947 in Edmundston, New Brunswick, son of the late Fred and Lorraine (Coppens) Sirois.  John was a Vietnam Veteran and was a recipient of the Bronze Star along with many other medals.  After the service, he worked at Fraser Papers for thirty-seven years until his retirement in 2007.  John is survived by three brothers, Larry Sirois and his wife Penny of Saco, Steve Sirois and wife Liz of Madawaska, Edward Sirois and his wife Sylvie also of Madawaska; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by one brother, Fred Sirois, Jr.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  A spring burial with military honors will be held at the Caribou Veterans Cemetery.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
