Madawaska---Jolyn "Boy" Michaud, 68, passed away June 27, 2019 at a Madawaska health care facility.  He was born in Madawaska on July 12, 1950, son of the late Emile and Cecile (Poissonnier) Michaud.  After graduating from the Madawaska High School, he was drafted into the United States Marines.  He was employed by Fraser Papers until his retirement in 2013.  Boy enjoyed being a member of the American Legion Riders of Madawaska often going to events with them.  He was a sociable person, often seen dancing.  He loved music and idolized Elvis.  Boy is survived by his wife of forty two years, Francine (Charette) Michaud of Madawaska; one daughter, Amy Michaud and her companion Jeff Palmer of Hollis; one son, Bruce Michaud of Hollis; two grandchildren, Jaden Ruffin and Colby Michaud both of Hollis; one brother, Lester Michaud and his wife Carmen of St. Jacques, NB; his sister-in-law, Claudette Michaud of Florida; his brother-in-law, Robert "Brod" Bourgoin of Frenchville; many nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by two siblings, Eldon Michaud and Joleen Bourgoin.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church on Tuesday from 9am until 9:45am before the Mass.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
