IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jordyn
Cote
May 28, 1989 – December 18, 2025
St. David--It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jordyn Lee Cote, 36, who left us unexpectedly on December 18, 2025. He was born on May 28, 1989, to John and Janice (Chasse) Cote of St David.
Jordyn was a true outdoorsman, embracing all seasons to its fullest. He loved to fish year-round and was rarely found without fishing gear in hand. His love for the outdoors led him to many fishing and hunting adventures with family and friends, something that began at a young age as he was always by his father's side. One of Jordyn's proud moments was shooting his first moose with his brother in-law Kevin, and his nephew Brandyn. The look of accomplishment and pride was shown all over his face for days to follow. Jordyn was always eager to take his nephews Ryan and Brandyn hunting or fishing and was proud to teach them what he knew. He was just as excited to teach the younger of his nieces and nephews the adventures of Northern Maine. Even in his toughest times, Jordyn was always there to lend a helping hand or joking around to put a smile on your face with a side comment or funny story. He was forever grateful for his family and friends that stood by him in the good and bad days. He worked for several years for Ed Pelletier and Son where the bond he shared with his coworkers is something that can't be forgotten. Jordyn's greatest love was his dog Tucker, who accompanied him in a time when he needed him the most along with his newest addition, Ember.
Jordyn was predeceased by his father, John, in 2007. He is survived by his mother, Janice of St David; two sisters- Jamie and her husband Kevin Dube of St David, and Jessica Cote of Bluffton, South Carolina; seven nieces and nephews- Ryan, Jayce, Jake, Bradley and Ella of South Carolina and Brandyn and Jenna of St. David; one great nephew, Rowyn.
A gathering will be held later in the spring for family and friends.
