St. David---Joseph R. M. Ouellette, 82, passed away July 21, 2019 at the Aroostook House of Comfort in Presque Isle. He was born in Lille on February 6, 1937, son of the late Martin and Rina (Corbin) Ouellette. He retired from the United States Air Force after twenty-two years of service. He was a member of the American Legion of Madawaska and a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus of Madawaska. He was predeceased by his first wife Joan (Cyr) Ouellette and his second wife Bernadette (Cote) Ouellette. He was also predeceased by his brother, Bertrand Ouellette. Joseph is survived by his two children, Mark Ouellette and his wife Cyndi (Brown) Ouellette of South Carolina, Tina Marie St. Cloud and her husband Stacey of Nebraska; five grandchildren, Evan Ouellette of South Carolina, Ashlyn Kellner and her husband Benjamin of North Carolina, Derek Spera of Wisconsin, Devan Spera of Nebraska, and Dain Spera of California; two great grandchildren, Elijah "Beanz" and Gianna "GiGi" both of Nebraska; one brother, Joseph J.E. Ouellette and his wife Yuko of Florida; four sisters, Theresa O. Cyr and her husband Eldon of Madawaska, Mary Orfitelli and her husband Jerry, Joan Kratzer and her husband Dick, Nora Passier all of Connecticut; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. David Church. Family and friends may offer their condolences from 9am until 9:45am on Friday before the Mass at the church. Interment will be held immediately after the Service in the Parish cemetery.
