Van Buren--- Joseph Simon Morrow, Jr., 77, peacefully passed away January 9, 2025, at a Van Buren healthcare center, with his loving family at his side. He was born March 8, 1947, in Van Buren, a son of the late Simon Sr. and Lillian (St. Pierre) Morrow.

Simon last worked for Vaillancourt Trucking, Van Buren, as a truck driver for several years until his retirement. He's been a lifelong truck driver for many area transport companies, including Albert Farms, Rocky Beach, Ouellette Farms, and several Canadian firms. Trucking was more than just a lifestyle for Simon; he adored the open road. Simon was an avid NASCAR fan and spent years cheering for his favorite driver, #3 Dale Earnhardt, Sr. He also loved watching wrestling. Simon was proud as his family grew to include his grandchildren and great grandchildren and would boast to his friends about their latest accomplishments.

He is survived by four children, Simon Morrow, III and his wife Deanne of Madison, Tammy Morrow of Caswell, Julie Duprey and her husband Scott of Van Buren, and Rebekah Cyr and her husband Jerry of Bangor; two siblings, David Morrow and his companion Marlene Levesque of Van Buren, and Lorraine Michaud of Connor; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; his former spouse, Roxanne; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Simon was predeceased by his first wife, Claudette (Corbin) Morrow, a son, Eric Morrow, in 2001, a daughter, Sandy Levesque, in 2019, and a sister, Stella Norton.

Relatives and friends may greet the family 9 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. A Catholic memorial service will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
