Madawaska---Joyce A. Cormier, 66, passed away on August 24, 2025, at a Fort Kent health care facility.  She was born in Fort Kent on January 13, 1959, daughter of the late Elmer and Joan (Parent) Cormier.  She is survived by four siblings, Kenneth Cormier of Fort Fairfield, Brenda Chabre and husband Robert of Farmingdale, Steve Cormier of Madawaska, Karen Lewis of Caribou; many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Burial will take place immediately following the Mass at the Parish cemetery.  There will be no visiting hours.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
