Madawaska---Judith F. Lagassie, 76, passed away on April 17, 2017 at a Van Buren health care facility.  She was born in Madawaska on March 21, 1941, daughter of Harry and Bessie (Johnson) Pickard.  Judith was a loving mother and wife and will be dearly missed.  She is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Eugene Lagassie of Madawaska; two sons, Brian Lagassie and his wife Elaina of Lyman, Peter Lagassie of Madawaska; four grandchildren, Katherine, John, Michael, and Keith; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Maralie O'Brien of Augusta; three nephews.  A Funeral Service will be held 10am on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Lajoie Funeral Home.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, April 20 from 6pm until 8pm.  There will be no visiting hours the morning of the funeral service.
