Fort Kent & Limestone---Julie Ann Mahaney, 58, peacefully passed away October 26, 2024, following a long illness. She was born July 5, 1966, in Bristol, CT, a daughter of Gilmay (Babin) Mahaney and the late Karnith "Butch" Mahaney.

As a young girl, Julie relocated with her family back to her mother's hometown of Fort Kent. She cherished living in the St. John Valley. Over the years, she always had a yard sale in her yard and would scour the many sales all over to find many antiques. She was an avid collector of many religious items, dolls, loved angel figurines, and had quite the collection of books and Elvis memorabilia.

She is survived by her son, Travis Mahaney of Mattawamkeag, formerly of Fort Kent; her mother, Gilmay Mahaney of Fort Kent; a brother, Scott Mahaney and his wife Kyrra of Hudson, NH; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Besides her father, Julie was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne and Bruce Mahaney.

Funeral services were celebrated privately and at the convenience of Julie's family. Arrangements were a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
