Obituary

Van Buren--- Juliette Madore, 80, passed peacefully in her sleep Wednesday, July 13, 2022, with her family at her side. She was born in Ste. Anne de Madawaska, NB, Canada, a daughter of the late Emile and Doria (Michaud) Kirouac.

Juliette worked at Borderview Manor, Van Buren, as a licensed nurse. After many years of dedication to the nursing home and its residents, she retired in 1978. During her younger years Juliette cherished working as a nanny for many families in the St. John Valley. Her love of children and family strengthened as she grew and raised her own family, and excitedly became a "Memere" as her beloved grandchildren and great grandchild entered the world. Juliette loved the nature of the St. John Valley bestowed upon her and would take to the woods for a bit of hunting and fishing, but she was always content in just sitting and watching the beautiful wildlife. Her love of BINGO may have kept her busy but, on occasion, irritated her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by five children, Bernard Kirouac and his wife Diane of Fort Kent, Bernice Gendreau of Tracadie-Sheila, NB, Canada, Mark Madore of St. Jacques, NB, Canada, Wanda Pinette and her husband Peter of New Gloucester and Brenda Madore and her companion Richard "Red" Bellefleur of Ste. Andre, NB, Canada; s even siblings, Clairmont Kirouac and his wife Solange of Connecticut, Micheline Pelletier and her husband Vincent of Grand Falls, NB, Canada, Fernand Kirouac and his wife Laurie of Florida, Suzanne Dziob and her husband Michael of Connecticut, France St. Amand and her husband Reginald of Grand Falls, NB, Canada, Parise Kirouac of Grand Falls, NB, Canada, and Brian Kirouac and his wife Sylvie of St. Andre, NB, Canada; six grandchildren, Paige Morrow, Corey Madore, Alex "Lutin" Deschaine, Brandon Madore, Jesse Kirouac and Gregg Kirouac; one great granddaughter, Kamdyn; special friends, Wendy Morrow, Sherry Huestis and Diane Parent; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Juliette was predeceased by two children, Ronald "Mous" Madore Jr. and Denise Madore, and seven siblings.
