Obituary

Van Buren--- Karen M. Morrow, 68, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2022, at a Caribou hospital, following several years of declining health. She was born October 19, 1953, in Van Buren, a daughter of the late Fernand and Christine (Picard) Rossignol, and graduated from Van Buren Secondary School, Class of 1972.

Karen was a devoted homemaker and cherished being able to stay home and raise her children. With her nimble fingers, she crocheted, knitted, and sewed many crafts throughout her lifetime; items cherished by her children, many grandchildren, family, and close friends. Karen loved to work with her husband in their small apple orchard and, recently, was able to cook and bake the fruits of their labor into anything apple based. Faith was paramount to her, was a devoted parishioner of St. Bruno-St. Remi Church, and was so proud to be able to pass her faith down through her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 50 years, Carl Morrow of Van Buren; three children, Sheri Morrow of Lisbon, Toby Morrow and his wife Amy of Arkansas, and Lori Joseph and her husband Jeffery of Bridgewater; three siblings, Sandra Levesque and her husband Ronald of Van Buren, Marylene Rossignol of Biddeford, and Darlene Rossignol of Edmundston, NB, Canada; ten grandchildren, Claire, Carly, Madelynn, Max, Sophie, Scout, Easton, Merritt, Jahleel, and Jamal; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Karen was predeceased by a sister, Gail Parker.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren.
