Madawaska---Kenneth J. Cyr, "Ken", 67, passed peacefully August 1, 2021 after battling cancer.  Ken was known for his love of fishing and making crafts.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.  Ken is survived by his wife, Louise (Violette) Cyr of Madawaska; one daughter, Julia Cyr and her wife Janet of Grand Isle; two sons, Justin Cyr of Madawaska, Brian Cyr and his companion, Kelly Cyr of Madawaska; his two beloved grandchildren, Zoe Rioux and Adam Cyr both of Madawaska; two brothers, Richard Cyr and his wife Priscille, and Alan Cyr and his wife Paula all of Madawaska; his aunt, Carol Cyr and his cousin, Paul Cyr; many nieces and nephews.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10am on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Church.  Family and friends may offer their condolences at the church from 9am until 9:45am.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Lajoie Funeral Home.
