Portage Lake--- Kevin M. Gravel, passed away unexpectedly August 29, 2020, at his home following a brief illness. He was born June 28, 1972 in Boston, MA, a son of the late Albert and Jetta (Prouty) Gravel Jr.

Growing up in and around Gardner, MA, Kevin last worked in shipping and receiving for Dennecrepe Inc. for over 13 years, before relocating to Portage. Previously he worked several years for a lumber mill in Fitzwilliam, NH. Kevin enjoyed stock car racing, loved to attend events at Speedway 95, and was in the process of building his own stock car to race car on the track. When he wasn't burning up the blacktop, Kevin enjoyed the simpler life fishing in and around his old romping ground of Templeton, MA, or wetting a line in local Portage Lake.

He will be missed by: his loving wife of 15 years, Tammy (Gagne) Gravel of Portage Lake; two daughters, Brittany and Breanna Gravel of Massachusetts; two step children, Ashley Aldouri of Massachusetts and Corey Gagne-Parry and his fiancé Vanessa St. Peter of Portage; nineteen brothers; a step grandson, Colton; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be celebrated at 10 AM on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the family home, 165 Fox Hill Road, Portage Lake, ME, with the Parish of the Precious Blood officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie Funeral Home, 114 Exchange St./PO Box 39, Ashland.
