Fort Kent--- Kevin M. Daigle, 64, passed unexpectedly July 3, 2026, following a long illness. He was born September 12, 1961, in Fort Kent, a son of the late Conrad and Ann Marie (Gaudreau) Daigle, and was a graduate of Fort Kent Community High School, Class of 1979.
Kevin last worked at the St. John Valley Tech Center and taught welding for many years. He loved being able to pass on his welding skills to up and coming kids. Previously he worked at White Oak Trucking, St. Francis, and maintained and fabricated much of their fleet. For several years, Kevin also maintained his own welding and fabrication shop.
He is survived by three daughters, Alicia Bernier and her husband Jacob of Frenchville, Elizabeth Daigle of Westbrook, and Miranda Daigle of Fort Kent; his spouse, Dawn (Bourgoin) Daigle of Fort Kent; six siblings, Carey Daigle and his wife Donna of Daigle, Lisa Pelletier and her husband Rudy, Tina Pelletier and her husband Larry, all of Millinocket, Glenn Daigle and his wife Millie of Daigle, Tim Daigle and his companion Sharon Collins of Sinclair, and Jamie Daigle and his wife Cheryl of Daigle; five grandchildren, Parker, Emmett, Blake, Dorothy, and Louie; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at St. Joseph Church, Soldier Pond. Burial will follow in Holy Family Cemetery, Daigle. Arrangements are a service of Lajoie-Daigle Funeral Home, 14 E. Main St., Fort Kent.
