Van Buren--- Larry G. Murray, 66, died Saturday, February 27, 2016 at a Bangor hospital. He was born January 25, 1950 in Mansfield, PA, a son of the late George and Eunice (Gleason) Murray.

Larry enlisted with the US Army for several years. He was well loved by his family, not only as a brother and uncle, but also as their best friend.

He is survived by eight siblings, Nelson Murray of Knoxville, TN, Linda Taylor of Savona, NY, Ellis Murray of Concord, NH, Welcome Murray of Mainieburg, PA, Rita Ackerman of Horseshoe Bend, ID, Sharon Van Husen of Bradford, NY, Gary Murray of Savona, NY, & Keith Murray of Ionia, MI, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Larry is predeceased by three siblings, Kenneth, Kimberlyn and Mary Murray.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 7, 2016 at St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church, Van Buren. Relatives and friends may greet the family Monday morning 9:30-10:30 at Lajoie Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren. Spring interment will be in Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
